There is a house in a neighborhood I like that is for sale and I want to go see it but I'm not sure how. Do i just call and make an appointment or do i need to have a realtor to take me? If i get a realtor, do I have to pay them? How much does it cost to see a house?

I'm in the initial steps for buying a home. I want to know what's coming next and what to plan for. I've seen some pdf checklists for home buying, but is there something better than this? Is there something online that will walk me through a checklist of steps and prepare me for what's next?
How do I confirm property lines?
I'm buying a house and want to have the property lines confirmed before I make an offer. I believe the seller is stating that the property is larger than it actually is. I want to protect myself and make an offer that aligns with the actual size of the property. So, how do I confirm the property lines?
