Who owns a fence between two houses?

Both us and our neighbors just moved into our houses in the last year and the fence between our two houses is falling down. They have a dog and I would really like the fence repaired so that the dog doesn't get in our yard but they say that that part of the fence is on our property. I think it is right on the line so shouldn't we both own that section?

Should i buy a house that is part of a build to rent community?

I am looking at a nice new house but half the street is owned by a single investment company that only rents them out. will this make it harder for me to get a loan or will the neighborhood feel like a giant apartment complex with no pride of ownership? I don't want to be the only person on the block who actually owns their home.

What is a lifestyle easement and should I be worried about it?

I am looking at a house in a new development and the paperwork mentions a lifestyle easement for a nearby trail and park. does this mean the public can just walk through my yard whenever they want or that I have to pay extra fees to keep the park clean?

My neighbor's messy yard is ruining my curb appeal

We work hard to have a nice yard and have regularly maintained the outside of our house. However, next door, it's a mess. Weeds are everywhere and they do the minimum to cut the grass. There's trailers and cars always parked around and general items that just sit around and looks like junk. I think this is going to hurt the sale of our house. What can we do? Can we offer to clean it up for them?

Is it a bad idea to buy the nicest house on the block?

Ok, so I know they always say buy the worst house on the nicest block. But this isn't always possible. And sometimes the worst house, really is terrible. Anyway, we've been looking at houses for a while and not finding anything. We found a house that we really like, but it is the nicest house on the block. Should we buy it?

I found a house near the coast that I love but my insurance quote came back at eight thousand dollars a year because of climate risk.
