Karen was my realtor securing me a home I fall in love with at Sparrows Point. It took 3+ long years to find one that met my requirements. I was specific n unreasonable at times. She took it in her stride and persevered. These are her traits. Karen is knowledgeable and well-versed of the MD market. Shes prompt, vigilant, always ready to assist and steps in to clarify my doubts every time. She works to meet my schedule, even my whims, at the last minute. She is tactful and understanding of my ASK. Shes an amazing and great negotiator. These I humbly feel are important but seldom seen in REAs. Karen Chapman is the most patient, accommodating realtor I have ever worked with. She absolutely went above and beyond to ensure that my sale went smoothly, especially important as I was remote. When the initial transaction fell through (financing) she kept an eye on the market and advised me of the perfect time to re-list even though I was not an active client at that time. We re-upped and got the place sold. Karen is a realtor who will absolutely go above and beyond, she's a pleasure to work with, her communication is great and did I say patient? Thanks Karen!

Karen has so much knowledge in real estate, especially in the Baltimore area. She is incredibly caring and responsive, and walks you through every step of the process. Karen worked with me to sell my house and really understood how to market it. Karen was patient when searching for a house. Her knowledge and patience was excellent. She was on time when searching fora house and negotiated well with seller. If I was to sell or buy another house I with out a doubt would hire Karen as my realtor !!!!!

I have smart home tech. How do I transfer these without giving personal info?

Hi Devin, The first thing to do is change the password on all those devices. A password that you do not use for anything else. After the password is reset then reset all devices. Once you take your wifi out of the house and new wifi is put in the new owner will need to connect to their wifi. You can tell them the password and they can change it once they set it up on their wifi. I am in Baltimore too. Feed free to call me. Signed a buyers agreement, am I stuck with that agent?

Hi Bette, It depends on what your agreement says. Is it good for a certain time frame or only good for a specific address? If only good for specific addresses then if you want to buy that house that agent would represent you. If it is good for a certain time period for example 6 months that means that agent is representing you as a buyers agent. You are obligated to have this agent represent in any house you want to buy and if you use another agent you could owe this agent compensation. How does the election impact the housing market?

Hi Francis, Elections don't have much impact on a selling price. An election is not a solid reason to delay listing your home if you are concerned with the price. The worse that can happen is you might wind up with fewer showings. I wouldn't base a decision on whether to buy or sell off of an election because it is a very temporary thing.
