I met Angela through a mutual friend whom she helped purchase their first home.I reached out to her the next day, can I say she was very open to listening to my concerns and wants with a very welcoming presence and wanted me to come in and go over where my husband and I were at financially and what would be our "ball park" number of what we realistically could afford. Once that number became "real" she mentioned to me that she was going to have a house upcoming for sale and wanted to know if I wanted to take a look at it. I feel in love the moment I stepped inside and she said lets get the ball rolling! Escrow came and went- I was aggressive and she was right there by my side the whole time. We closed on time and happily ever after that! I have 3 years of home ownership under my belt because of Angela.She took the time to sit down and go over every detail and explained every step- it did not feel like it was just a "sale" she cared enough to make sure my dream came to reality. Yes I had to make sure to keep my finances together to even make this opportunity real, but she got me to the finish line. I call her my real estate Guru and have reached out to her recently to start the process of getting a income property next if all the starts align for me again.. fingers crossed! Not only did I gain a relationship with a realtor that I trust I also gained an amazing friend.

Angela & Jorge helped my wife and I to sell our home in the Inglewood area last February of 2017. We were lucky enough to bump into Angela during an open house in Inglewood that she was holding and right away we were comfortable with her and felt she was the perfect person to sell our home. My wife and I interviewed several other local agents and Angela was our choice and it turned out to be a great one! Angela has a calming presence about her and she makes you feel comfortable right away. She has a very warming and positive personality which I think is one of her many strongpoints. Without even trying, she makes you feel confident and comfortable right away and has the ability to relate to all types of people. Angela was very honest with us from the very beginning and was never pushy or at any point did she make us feel like we were not in control or that she was not looking out for our best interests. She explained the entire process with us and warned us of anything we needed to be aware of that may happen good or bad. She created a plan for us to sell our home at the price we wanted and explain how it would happen step by step. We literally did not have to do anything except to trust her and let her take the reigns. The additional bonus with working with Angela is that we also had the services of Jorge at the same time. Jorge has a wealth of knowledge as well and combined with Angela you have two professionals looking out for your best interest as a home buyer/seller. They both gave us many insights and advice which helped us to sell our home at the price we felt it was worth. They have many contacts in the industry such as other agents (spreading the word of your home sale), contractors, title agents, inspectors etc so that the whole process from marketing, selling, closing and funding all went flawlessly and smoothly. To this day, my wife and I are still thankful for Angela and her services and we will always consider her our friend and as a special person. I encourage you to contact her if you are considering selling your home or possibly if purchasing a new home. You will not regret it and you will see what I am talking about once you meet her and experience her warm personality. I have been to many open houses in the greater Los Angeles/South Bay area and many of the real estate agents are over dressed and unapproachable and stand offish maybe you have seen this. I went into may open houses and was not even approached by the listing agent or given any information as a prospective buyer and this is not what we want to hear as the home seller of our agent. However, if you see Angela at work, every person who enters the open house is greeted warmly and openly and it becomes like a buzz of energy and the buyers kept asking Angela questions and wanted to know more about the home which had an effect on new buyers walking in and it fosters more and more interest in your home when there is an agent who works professionally in this way and creates the selling/buying environment which people enjoy and are looking for. Angela captured us 3 offers to buy our home all within 3 days of the finish of our open house!! Thank you Angela and Jorge you both did a GREAT job and we will always be thankful!!

What can I do?

Unfortunately, being fenced with your home doesn't mean you legally own it, at least here in California. Your paperwork should show 2 Assessor Parcel numbers if both properties were sold to you. Sounds like maybe only the lot with your home was actually transferred to you. Are you receiving and paying 2 tax bills every year? If not, that other lot may not be yours. I'm sorry this is happening to you. If your property is in California, I'd be happy to review the paperwork for you.
