I am Amy Shrader, native of Morristown, Tennessee. I became a licensed real estate agent in May 2012. That makes me a fairly new agent. But I am not new to the real estate industry.
Prior to becoming an agent, I had over 11 years experience in real estate, as both a mortgage loan originator and a title agent. This background differentiates me from most other agents, because I do see and understand all facets of the transaction. I have taken loan applications for first-time home buyers and know their fears and frustrations. I have gone over closing documents with seasoned investors who just wanted the highlights explained. Do I need to pay for professional pictures for my listing?
Katherine, from your question it sounds like your agent is asking you to pay for the professional photos of your home. An experienced agent should be paying for the photos themselves. I have never asked a seller to pay for their own photos.
