Yes. The first time a potential buyer sees your home is likely to be online. If the home doesn't show well in the photos you may miss out on one or multiple offers. Be sure the home is represented accurately. Any modifications using AI need to be disclosed.

Be sure to ask your local and experienced agent if escalation clauses are even accepted in your area. Most agents do NOT want to see an offer with an escalation clause because it requires more paperwork and more importantly unwanted liability. An escalation clause requires disclosing another buyers offers plus it could also invite potential for fraud (bad agents fabricating fake offers to solicit a higher price)

Is buying a condo a bad investment compared to a single-family home?

A condo is just a different type of investment, it’s typically a weaker long-term wealth builder than a single-family home but it does have advantages too. The difference comes down to appreciation, costs, flexibility, and resale demand. Questions to think about: what are your plans for it in the future and what will you do with your money if you do not buy a condo? Now is a good time to buy condos because the value came down due to COVID. So as long as you work with a good realtor you should be able to negotiate a good price that will have a higher chance of appreciation.
